Our Service

Cotswold Wealth Chartered Financial Planners is a chartered financial planning Practice and was established by Jennifer Hill to provide a wide range of financial advice, whether you are looking to grow, protect or preserve your wealth. We have over 30 years’ experience in providing advice on:

  • Inheritance tax planning
  • Retirement planning
  • Long term care planning
  • Income generation
  • Investment planning

Often our clients like to involve their family in meetings, and we welcome this. It can be very helpful and supportive to have another family member present to assist in the decision-making process.

Regular reviews are of paramount importance. At Cotswold Wealth Chartered Financial Planners, we build long term relationships with our clients, often over many years. Personal circumstances may change over time, so regular review meetings are vital in making sure advice remains relevant. We will contact you on a regular basis; annually or more often, to arrange a review or as your financial circumstances dictate.

How we help

  • We can help you preserve and protect your estate and pass on as much of your wealth as possible when you die – and avoid paying unnecessary tax
  • We can help protect your assets should you or a loved one require long term care. We can advise on funding current or future care needs
  • We can help you organise your savings and investments in the most tax efficient way, to aim to maximise returns and avoid unnecessary tax
  • We can provide you with expert advice on how to grow, protect and preserve your wealth for the long term
  • We can help you plan a comfortable retirement with sufficient income to meet your needs, so you can enjoy the retirement lifestyle you have planned.
  What will the service involve?
  • We will arrange a meeting lasting up to 2 hours to discuss your current situation, objectives, goals and aspirations. There is no charge for this initial consultation – it allows us time to get to know you properly, enabling us to create a personal financial plan.
  • We will then conduct research and analysis to create a bespoke report (in plain English) outlining our list of recommendations to meet your needs
  • We will present this report to you in person, explaining the solutions we have identified. We provide a copy for your personal records
  • Going forward, we will remain contactable, recommending regular reviews. We believe in offering ongoing service and advice. We are aware personal circumstances are likely to change over time, so regular review meetings are arranged to continue to meet your requirements now and in the future.

The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds you select, and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than you invested.

The levels and bases of taxation, and reliefs from taxation, can change at any time. The value of any tax relief depends on individual circumstances.
